Does anyone have any tips to coming out to parents?

I’ve been thinking about my sexuality and have come to the conclusion that even if I don’t know my sexuality yet, I’m not 100% straight. Even so, I feel that I would like to tell my parents. I think they would be fine with it, but I have no idea how I would tell them. Does anyone have any advice or tips? Any would be appreciated ^^

I'm not the expert at coming out but how I came out was that my mum was using a ruler to draw a line on paper and I was next to her and I started laughing because I thought of something funny and she asked me what and I said oh it's nothing it's just the line's straighter than me. Maybe you could tell them with a joke or maybe calmly say you're not straight and you'd like their support. Hope you found this helpful :D
