Hey there,

It's interesting that you mentioned being able to keep yourself under control and not crying or showing much emotion yesterday. I'm wondering, does this mean that by controlling yourself, you mean not showing much emotion? I wanted to explore this more because I noticed what you said about how it hurts on the inside, and I'm wondering, how would it feel for you to let out those feelings so others can see them?

my family calls me a crybaby if i show my emotion too much and just ignore me bc they think 'an almost 15 year old shouldn't cry like a 3 year old.'

Hey there,

That sounds really challenging. I can see why it would be difficult to be open about your feelings around them. We all have a need to express what is going on for us emotionally, and when we cannot do that, it can often leave us feeling unheard and unseen. I'm wondering, are there any times when you feel like you can express what's on your mind? If so, can you tell me more about them? This doesn't have to be at home, it can be anywhere. Take care and speak soon.

when im with my best friend i always feel i can speak freely. I tell her like everything. used to feel that way with some people at karate but they betrayed me and ditched me so thats just added to my trust issues. my bsf is honestly prolly the only person i feel i can be free and open to.

Hey there,

I'm glad you can do this with your best friend and it will be good for you to lean on her during this difficult time. What do you think? That's what friends are for :)

That's great :)

I'm really glad you have your best friend to help you through this. I'm just thinking now, it seems like we've come to a point where we can think about your next steps. I'm wondering, would you like anymore support from us over this?
