Receive Up to 12 Free Therapy Sessions
An Opportunity for Young People Aged 18-25 in the UK

Ditch the Label is excited to partner with @Maybelline New York and their Brave Together initiative, to offer young people the opportunity to receive up to 12 free therapy sessions. Each session will be 50 minutes long and will be conducted either via video call or in a private metaverse environment.

Why is this important?

Access to therapy can be a barrier for many people, especially those who are young. Long waiting lists and the high cost of private therapy can make it difficult to get the support you need.

This pilot programme is designed to:

• Provide young people with access to free therapy
• Evaluate the effectiveness of therapy in a virtual metaverse environment

Who is eligible?

To be eligible for this programme, you must:

• Be aged 18-25
• Be based in the United Kingdom
• Not currently be receiving therapy from anywhere else

How to apply:

Applications will close on December 17, 2023.

What to expect:

If you are selected for the programme, you will be contacted by a Ditch the Label therapist to assess your needs and determine if you are a suitable candidate. If you are, you will be allocated a set number of therapy sessions and will be contacted to book them in.

Additional details:

• Therapy sessions will be provided by Ditch the Label psychotherapists.
• Some sessions will be hosted in a virtual metaverse environment.
• You will need a desktop/laptop computer or a smartphone to participate in the virtual metaverse sessions.
• Some sessions will be hosted via a video calling platform, such as Zoom or Google Meets.
• Therapy is confidential.
• There is no cost to participate in this programme.

We received over 400 applications to join our pilot and are blown away by the interest. A huge thank you to everybody that applied!
