i dont really know how this works, my therapist recommended this website so i’m giving it a try lol..

so i’ve been having panic attacks for like years now but recently i’ve ended up with self-inflicted injuries from them? The problem is i don’t intentionally do it and most of the time don’t realise i’m doing it. any advice?

Hi @twst_allium,

It sounds like you are not aware you are doing this until you feel the effect of it. I'm wondering if there is something else you can do to occupy your hands when you start to feel on edge, so that you know that your fingers will be occupied. Some people like braiding hair och knitting on their fingers whereas others use Elmer's school glue on their hands and pull off the layer of glue as a way to distract themselves. What do you think of this?

@Duckie love the ideas also wanted to say that I made a list of distractions that you can use when feeling overwhelmed with emotions! ( sorry for butting it!)
