Monsoon
Hey there, Welcome to the DTL community. I'm one of the digital mentors here and I give advice to those who reach out to us. It's great that you're planning to come out soon and I'm sure you'll find that your life changes for the better and you'll be able to be more authentic. I've supported many people who are wanting to come out, and I just want you to know that it's really normal to feel nervous about telling an adult at home even though they've showed no signs of homophobia. I think the nervousness comes down to just wanting to be accepted and the emotional vulnerability required to share your truth. However, do take reassurance in the fact that your mom has showed no signs of homophobia; this is really positive and likely means she is accepting of the community. What do you think? 1 MultiQuote
