I'm one of the digital mentors here and I give advice to those who come to us for support. I'm glad to hear you told your dad; how did it go? I'm wondering, with your mom and grandmother, even if they don't understand, does that mean it will be like that for ever? I guess my point is that it may be tricky to get their head around at first, but this is pretty common, and it can just take some time in some cases.
