I'm one of the digital mentors here and I give advice to those who reach out to us. Usually, in this kind of case, the scammer makes such threats in order to get a reward, like money for example. Have they asked for that by any chance or made any other kind of threats? If there is no motivation for them to report (such as only passing onto the police if you don't give them money), then they are highly likely to not do so as they won't actually gain anything - what do you think?
