The next day, she told me that her parents said no. I thought maybe I was being too forward by asking her to a movie. So, a few weeks later, I asked her if she wanted to just get a coffee and hang out. The next day, she told me that her parents said no. I think that it's hard to say whether you are overthinking it or not, and I think that the best thing to do would be to tell her how you feel and the thoughts you're having to hopefully put you at ease.
