my parents are homophobic and i’m pan,  they don’t know but i’m scared they’ll find out. how do you deal with homophobia in your household, family, of friends?

Hey Nina,

Thank you for sharing this with us. It's completely normal to be scared in this kind of situation; we all want to be accepted and loved for who we are, and when those close to us don't agree with your identity, there can be fears around not being accepted and even being in an unsafe situation, such as getting kicked out. I'm wondering, what are you scared might happen if these people find out?
