At school I'm not popular, so one day I decided I would play online since I was lonely, but this is strictly against my parents rules. I quickly became popular in a certain game which gets me through school, knowing I have friends even if they are over technology. I have not and don't plan on sharing any personal information, but this has pros and cons. Should I stop and be lonely or continue and be at risk of predators? My advice is to talk to your parents about it. I know, I know, easier said than done. I would even try asking why they are opposed to it? try and get an answer, rather than just no. If you are not comfortable with that, and this game is the only thing getting you through, do what you have to do.
