Hey, so I started to live with my grandparents after being in foster care and I love them to bits but sometimes my grandma gets really mad especially when someone calls her about me saying how I’m feeling. Sometimes she says that I’m just attention seeking and how I’m making her ill as she needs a new heart but she won’t have one so the doctor said she isn’t allowed anymore stress and she says I’m stressing her out so if she gets more ill it’s my fault. Sometimes in the past she has hit me by chasing me around a room with a slipper but this was when I was a lot younger maybe around the age of 10 or 11. She says when she’s mad that she has to shout otherwise she would hit me again. I’m not sure if this is a like normal thing for people to do or not as I haven’t actually ever lived in a place where people don’t hit and shout really loudly before and my grandma isn’t as bad as some people I’ve lived with.
