Guest jake
Things like #BlackLivesMatter and #StopAsianHate have been everywhere lately andย to be honest I feel like I've personally learnt a lot about the experiences of other people and also about white privilege which until about a year ago i'd never even heard of. wbu? Ditch the Label Staff Harper Posted May 28, 2021 Ditch the Label Staff Share Posted May 28, 2021 Great question @jakeย and thanks for posting it! I learnt a huge amount over the past 12-18 months, mainly for me, it was like you, hearing about the real lived experiences of other people, including people that are close to me. It was also sobering to see how damaging and deep these experiences go. Did you see our #StopAsianHate hub with ASOS? There's some really great articles on there, check out the Unconscious Bias one if you haven't already. 2 MultiQuote Quote Link to comment https://forums.ditchthelabel.org/topic/2001-what-is-1-thing-youve-learnt-about-raceracism-in-the-past-year/#findComment-8765 Share on other sites
