I'm planning to text my mom today, tell her I'm bisexual, and should anything go extremely wrong, i might just say, " happy april fools day mom." Your safety has always got to come first - if you think she may kick you out or put you in any danger then please wait until you have a plan b. The only thing about joking about it now is that your mom may not take you seriously in the future. Could you talk to her about a 'friend' wanting to come out and see how she takes that as it could be a good way to test the water with her and see her reaction?
