vega Posted December 13, 2022 Share Posted December 13, 2022 i am a girl but i dont like dresses makeup disgusts me jewelry is gross i hate pink i dont like shopping or cooking i hate kids and i dont want to stay at home i want to plunge through the world of writing and medicine i want to cure cancer and win Nobel prizes i want to be an activist and live my life but everyone always wants to tell me how i should be "when you're a mother..." "when you have kids..." "One day you'll squeal about boys too.." That pisses me off as well, like people make assumptions about girls, boys, & people in general when they don't know anything about them, society's "standards" need to just vanish What can a person like without getting made fun of? I just want to say that I relate to this I don't want to be the girl that stays home, cooks, cleans, they say that men do all the hard work and put their lives on the line and girls dont we just sit back, yea no.
