bluegreen
Hi two days ago I realized I was lesbian. It clicked. I never really liked the idea of boy girl stuff. I really want to tell my best friend. I don't know how but I don't want to tell anyone else. I'm really scared I am going to get bullied and I fall under so many stereotypes. (Blonde, hates make-up, loves sports) I don't know what to do. Can anyone here help me? I picked the name from Love, Simon by the way. I am also twelve. Monsoon
Hey there. Thanks for coming to us for advice - we can deffo help you I love your name. The film is one of my faves this year. It should be shown to everyone in school to help make being gay more acceptable. How are you feeling about coming to this realisation? It was such a eureka moment for me when I finally realised, haha. I understand how scared you are to tell someone. I found it terrifying, especially the thought of doing it face-to-face. As a result, I decided to tell some of my friends over text message. It takes away a lot of pressure. Maybe you could try this? With the stereotypes, I would try not to bother yourself too much by that. Negative attitudes towards such things are the problem of those who hold such beliefs. It is important to know that you're not the problem and you don't have to change! Here is an article you may find useful: https://www.ditchthelabel.org/top-11-tips-for-coming-out-as-lesbian-gay-or-bi/ I hope this advice helps. I look forward to hearing back from you. over and out - Monsoon MultiQuote Quote Link to comment https://forums.ditchthelabel.org/topic/574-new-lesbian/#findComment-2768 Share on other sites
