Hi Everyone! My name is Grace and I have just graduated form nursing school. I am currently studying to take my NCLEX-RN exam as well as job searching for positions in pediatrics. My personal hobbies include playing piano, hiking, painting, and hanging out with my two dogs. I am obsessed with Harry Potter, musicals, GOT, and really anything Disney. Oh and I am also trying (rather failing) to learn how to knit. So if anyone needs socks that look like hats- I'm your girl😂. I am Bisexual and my pronouns are she/her/hers. I am not out yet to my friends and family. I am very close with my family but have not come out to them yet for various reasons. They both say they "support" LGTBQ but they also make homophobic comments and digs like "I am so glad that you are not that way" or my personal favorite "Bisexuals aren't real; they are just trying to cover up their gay." I have never really reached out to a LGBTQ community because I have always dated guys, thus never having to bring up my sexuality. I am definitely attracted to women too, I have just never really explored in that direction. I want to be able to come out to my parents and I have tried to correct them multiple times, but I think they just see it all as a big joke. I want to be accepted for who I am but I feel like they wont even hear me.

Anyways, that was a lot but that's me.

Hey there,

Welcome to the DTL community. I'm one of the digital mentors here and I give advice to those who reach out to us. I noticed what you said about your sexuality, and if you like, we can give you support on this. Just let us know. Take care.
