Sorry to hear that you're struggling with your self-esteem at the moment. I think we all go through this at one point or another, and it's good to talk about it because other people can share their experiences. We can help you. I'm wondering, what have you tried to help yourself already?

I would say tell someone you trust like a sibling or a friend and ask for them to be there when you get a plan to tell your parents (sorry if I’m no help it is just a suggestion my cousin found useful)
