I believe the media creates a facade about what’s prettiest and what’s ugly. A big time self esteem blower if you begin to compare yourself to those categories. You eventually become subjective. Imagine if the World had no preference of beauty, and we all thought each other were gorgeous. The media overshadows beauty within. A huge variation surrounds this topic. Just getting a few things off my chest

This is spot on. The media massively influences the beauty standards of society and as you say, it can be a blow to self esteem when you see all of these people who always look good for the camera. Thanks for sharing this thought!
