Black Lives Matter - Resources, support, and information sharing

Hello everyone!

I wanted to create a space for us to talk about and share resources about what is happening in the USA right now with the Black Lives Matter protests and and the reaction across the globe.

On 25th May, the police were called to a situation over a forged $20 note. The police officer restrained George Floyd and a medical examiner on June 1 classified George Floyd’s death as a homicide, saying his heart stopped as police restrained him and compressed his neck.

This has sparked riots across the USA, and protests throughout the world. The protests and riots are a direct reaction to the mistreatment and inequality of black people shown by police in the USA. The riots have sparked a larger conversation about racism globally and some really important and sometimes uncomfortable information and personal experiences are being shared. This is a great time for people educate themselves on anti-racism and how to practice positive ally-ship.

NOTE: This forum will not tolerate any racism of any kind. Be kind when posting as always.
