nics
Hi my name is nicole. Lately I've been struggling a lot with my mental and emotional health. I feel like I've lost myself and I'm on a journey to get back to the real me. I feel a bit lost and I am struggling with my self esteem and ways in which to make myself happy again. I'm hoping by being here and trying to be more open to new things that it's a start in the right direction. MultiQuote
Monsoon
Hi Nicole, Thanks for reaching out to us. We are here to support you through this. Being more open is definitely a brilliant start as it allows people to help us through difficult times. I think that at some point in everyone's life, they feel like they are a bit lost. This can be quite a worrying time as humans instinctively like to know what path they are on. The thing is, the universe gives us stage directions all the time. This comes in the form of instincts. It's important to keep an open mind and try things out of our comfort zone as this can help to get us on the path we need. Have you tried identifying the things in your life which aren't making you happy? Once you've done this, you can then start to plan in ways to give yourself a new sense of direction and make things better for yourself. I'm wondering, do you have a good support network of family and friends to speak to? Although this can be daunting, they know you best and will be able to help more with ways to make you feel better. Therapy is also a good option if you think it's appropriate. This can help with self-esteem too. Hope you find this helpful. nics
Hi, Thank you for your response. I have started working on identifying the things that are making me unhappy and I am trying to work them out. I also started seeking therapy so I am able to identify the problems and work towards a solution. As for the support system, I do have some family and friends that are supporting me, the problem is that I have been keeping everything to myself and not being open to them, but I am changing that and trying to be more open.
