Hiya, i know it can be awfully scary to hear about such a scary and dangerous situation, ive never experienced a shooting before but have experienced a stabbing near by etc, but not sure if its the same but i would presume there would be police presence and they would make sure the area itself and surroundings is safe, and would put news out if there was a danger to life and wellbeing, if you’re unsure could you possibly ask someone close to you like an adult or something, if the shooter hadn’t been caught yet, i would presume there will be police presence in the surrounding area, and alerts on what to do would be put out. of course, someone your age might not have the access to those type of information so maybe asking a trusted adult as your safety matters! hugs.
