You did! We don't have a lot of words that English has borrowed from us, but yule means Christmas and tide means time. You might also be familliar with a few other words, randomly used. Ombudsman, moped and smörgåsbord (sandwich spread). We also have a lot of "false friends", meaning they sound and look the same, but means something different! For example the word for speed is fart 😅 So top speed would be toppfart!
