I come from a Christian family and I am Christian however sometimes I feel things for the same gender. I haven’t told anyone about my feelings, and I am still worried to because I don’t know if I will be accepted and I don’t know how to say it to my family. I'm Aurora, I'm one of the support mentors here at Ditch the Label and I give support and advice to those, who reach out to us. I'm really glad you found us. There are lots of others here, who feel the same as you. First of all, I just wanted to let you know that your feelings are totally normal and I'm sorry to hear that you've not been able to open up to anyone about how you feel. I'm not sure where you live but there are more and more churches now that are trying to be inclusive of everyone, including the LGBTQ+ community. And that you always have that right. If you telling someone a truth about yourself, it is never makes you worse, only better.
