Embarrassment

My friends and I all love Stranger Things, so for a church lip sync battle, we decided to do Dustin and Suzies version of Neverending Story, but the tech people chose the wrong version, and the one with swearing and the mind flayer attacking. It was humiliating. When the swearing happened, everybody collectively went "ooooh" even though it was just the words "godd*mn it" and "sh*t." I say worse quite often, but there is nothing worse then just being stared at by a bunch of teens who all know that you did something wrong. The thing is, my friends and I went out of our way to find a clean version, but the tech team messed everything up. The blank stares that we received instead of applause will haunt me forever, and I have no idea how I will ever be able to face those people again.
