We understand that for some users, it is helpful to understand the people you're talking with a little more, as there's a huge difference between the types of conversations a 13 year old would have versus a 20 year old, for example. This information is optional, but if you do want to set it you can do so by clicking the drop down arrow next to your username in the navigation bar and then by visiting Account Settings > Edit Profile. You are reminded to not share any personal information that could be used to identify you. This includes DOB, email, social media handles, address or phone number.
