katerbug01
I'm 5ft 2in and way 160lbs. Now I am not really heavy but I'm not skinny either. Being short my upper body carries fat differently than others so it doesn't look proportional. I want to except he way I look because I know I am too critical towards myself and I am the only one who sees what I think is "flaws" in my body. How do I get on the road to loving my body? Remi
Hello @katerbug01 Body acceptance is something that a lot of us struggle with and it is certainly a marathon and not a sprint so try not to beat yourself up. You sound like you are a healthy weight...could you change the way you think about these 'flaws' and instead look for some positives in them. Have a read over this awesome articles from one of our ambassadors https://www.ditchthelabel.org/body-acceptance-toolkit/. Remi MultiQuote Quote This Digital Mentor Account is no longer active.
