  1. Hi everybody! I'm Michelle Elman and I'm a life coach, author, influencer and public speaker. You might know me online as Scarred Not Scared and most recently, I released a book on boundaries called The Joy of Being Selfish. I'm most passionate about showing people how to live their most empowered lives whether that's around boundaries, body positivity or dating and I work with DTL because I think it's important to demonstrate authenticity online and I believe DTL give people a safe space to discuss the issues that often arise online and through working with them, I hope to give people the tools to love themselves just as they are! You can ask me questions on any topic. I have worked with an array of clients on different problems so you will be hard pressed to find a topic, I haven't encountered before. To find out more about me, I'm @ScarredNotScared on Instagram, TikTok and Twitter and if you would like to ask me more questions, I answer questions weekly on my podcast In All Honesty or on Instagram on Mondays. I'll be live on the Ditch the Label Community on Friday 9th July from 16:00 BST time, but you can leave your questions in advance on this thread.
  2. This AMA is now closed. Thanks for all of your questions! Hey everyone! I’m Holly Hagan - TV personality, nutrition coach and Ditch the Label Ambassador. I try to use my platform to raise awareness of the many mistakes I’ve made in the past when it comes to diet culture. Educating people on the correct way to look after their body and mental health. I speak a lot about my experience with eating disorders and fad diets which were a product of years of appearance based bullying both on and offline. Meeting Ditch the Label I felt an instant connection to the brand and new it was something I wanted to be involved in! Since then we’ve worked on many partnerships together and have even spoken with MPs in the House of Lords on the topic of body image. I’m so proud to be a Ditch the Label ambassador, they have not only helped me but many of my friends overcome difficult online abuse. Feel free to ask me anything and hopefully I can use my knowledge and experiences to help you. Ask me anything from body image and nutrition to trolling and about my time on Geordie Shore. I'm an open book! - Holly Hagan x
  3. This AMA is now over, thank you to everyone that submitted questions and a huge thanks to Mia for joining us! Hello everyone! I’m Mia Kang - a model, author, tv host and activist. I try to use my platform to raise awareness and discuss different issues like racial injustices, eating disorder recovery, body image issues, mental health (in particular anxiety and depression) and feminism. DTL and I have had a long relationship and as someone who was bullied and cyber bullied in school, I truly believe all the work that they do is not only important but necessary. DTL and I have partnered on projects together in the past but they have also supported me and helped me through things I have personally had to deal with, both online and offline. I’m so proud to become an ambassador for an organisation that I not only wholeheartedly support, but they truly practice what they preach. Feel free to ask me anything! I’m an open book, and am a big believer in talking about things to break social stigmas. Xx Best, Mia Kang / @MiaKang
