I want to self harm πŸ˜•

I feel awful I just want to self harm πŸ˜ͺ. Spoke to my therapist for help she was amazing she let me cry but now she's gone I feel awful. 😒. I hate feeling like this all the time it's sort of like I deserve to feel like this when It absolutely hurts that I have to suffer with feeling su!c!dle and when I want to self harm so badly. I am sorry for being such a downer on the community.

You're not a downer to community. You're sharing how you feel and how you feel is valid.

One of things you are so good at is opening up to people and allowing yourself to be vulnerable. Can you let one of the staff team know how you're feeling? Sometimes verbalising can reduce the harshness of how we feel.

Also, have you tried the meditations recently?

I forgot them I'm so sorry 😞. The nurse who is on tonight will be in a bit she is helping with someone else

Thank you so much, Yes i am safe at the moment, but it feels really scary as I don't like these thoughts in my head, it also hasn't been helping with my ADHD self labels.

My family is helping me feel safe, but, it's starting to not be enough

No, no one else knows, and I'm afraid to tell my family as they have always had strong feelings about suicide and self harm as we are a christian family.

I'm wondering, really, how do you think they will react when they learn you need that kind of help? Keep in mind the love they have for you as their child. What do you think?

Monsoon isn't online at the moment so I thought I would jump in. I'm one of the other support mentors. I hope you don't mind. I'm wondering, if one of your family members felt the way you do right now, would you want them to tell you? And would you be upset by it or would you be glad that they told you?Β

I don{t mind at all, in fact i really appreciate all of the support you guys have given me, and yes I suppose i would want them to tell me, and i guess i would be shocked but happy that they told me.

I prayed to God as i am a christian, i prayed that he would take the thoughts away, and it worked.
